MJ is a feast for the eyes and ears. The story is thought provoking, at times tear-jerking, but ultimately the show is about the joy that MJ's music brought to the world.
by Geoffrey - London Box Office customer, 19 minutes ago - MJ the Musical MJ the Musical reviewsWe liked everything about the show, except that it was way too loud. We wish we would have brought earplugs, but often had to hold our ears.
by Mary J - London Box Office customer, 4 hours ago - Sister Act Sister Act reviewsFawlty Towers is a wonderful show, a reincarnation of so many memories, scenes and a script that was faithful to the original, all delivered with superb timing, looks and voices that were uncannily like the originals. Full marks to the actors, the casting got them all off to a ‘T’. It was faultless! One is left wondering how Basil can keep this level of energy up for any length of time! He must be exhausted after one week.
by John - London Box Office customer, 9 hours ago - Fawlty Towers Fawlty Towers reviewsAlthough the storyline isn't the same as the film it still has the great one liners that whoopi Goldberg said in the film! The main cast were absolutely fabulous Beverley Knight, Ruth Jones, Lesley Joseph and many others were amazing the songs were individual and written just for the show, it's a must see event! I would have liked to be a bit closer to the stage as it was hard to see the cast properly, but that didn't detract from a fabulous Wednesday theatre trip! Just go and see it before it's too late!!!
by Sara - London Box Office customer, 11 hours ago - Sister Act Sister Act reviewsThe show staging was tremendous compared with travelling shows which are good. The singing showed the actors talented voices, brilliant, the new movie has a lot to live up to. Not a lot of leg room in the Appollo but the view at the very back upstairs was still very good.

by Angelica - London Box Office customer, 22 hours ago - Sister Act Sister Act reviewsThe play was unbelievable, and very very good. The lead actor had an outstanding voice and imitated Tina at perfection👏💃 we loved everything about it - the concert at the end was the highlight of the evening, and left us wanting more. Well done 🥳 the only bad thing was the people showing up late at the show, disturbing everyone else walking in in the middle of the show. Be there at the right time or don’t come at all!!!!
by Lærke - London Box Office customer, one day ago - Tina - The Tina Turner Musical Tina - The Tina Turner Musical reviewsSaw the MJ musical tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it! The story line followed him from his childhood and highlighted how his father was the defining factor of the demons he fought in life. The story line was a little too deep and would have preferred more of the upbeat music and dancing. Could have definitely done without the character, Rachel, singing with MJ. She was not musically talented and did nothing for the songs. The actor, Myles Frost, was phenomenal! All of the backup dancers/singers brought a lot of energy to the show! Overall good show and worth a visit. Inexpensive seats are great! We sat back row Dress circle and had a great view!
by Tonya - London Box Office customer, one day ago - MJ the Musical MJ the Musical reviewsI saw this same show 8 years ago and was blown away. However this time around wasn't so and more disappointed. I found the acting apart from mufasa, rafiki and pumba to be underwhelming. Examples being scar seemed to either mis time and speed up "be prepared" and reminded me of the live action film, which also wasn't a fan. Also he seemed to be less dominant than the character demands. I found young Simba's singing in "can't wait to be king" to slow and pronunciation of the words almost spoken, same for be prepared. Zazus character became more and more panto as the performance went on which actually annoyed me. I did like the singing of the usually background music from the film. The version of feel the love tonight seemed to lack emphasis the song deserves. The random adding of scar wanting Nala as a queen was weird and lead knowhere. One massive bug bear was mufasa over touching young simba. I get there's meant to be a father son emotion but he doesn't need to touch him that much. As a father of young children really put me off.
by Matthew - London Box Office customer, one day ago - The Lion King The Lion King reviewsLovely portrayal of Dahl's famous Matilda. I felt touched, excited, sadness, reflective while watching the musical. However, I find the punch line music too loud and the lights pyrotechnics too bright. The switching of scenes albeit smooth was quick, too quick to enjoy the moment with the scene, understandable to keep to time. Maybe review to reduce some aspects of scenes. The change of scenes in itself are marvels, so I would slow that down a little bit. I didn't like it that Miss Trunchball was a man, may confuse children but of course this is the UK with pantomimes. I understand for the drama effect but we could have a woman like the librarian 'in size' prep up for the role.
