Welcome to

‘Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting’

Your resource for achieving the family life you’ve always wanted

Are you tired of reminding, threatening, or shouting, just to get your children or teens to do the simple, ordinary tasks they’re supposed to do every day?

There’s a better way…

In order for children to do things differently, parents need to learn how to do things differently.

Parents need to focus on becoming positive, firm, and consistent — and we’ll teach you how.

You can significantly transform the daily flashpoints that can be so frustrating:

morning routine

mealtimes

screen time

homework

sibling relationships

peer relationships

bedtimes

etc.

Children and teens need to learn two important habits:

  • cooperation — doing what they’re told the first time they’re told, with a minimum of fuss (90% of the time)

  • self-reliance — following the family rules and routines, and doing for themselves everything they can do for themselves (90% of the time)

Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting’  gives you practical and effective techniques that motivate your children and teens to be their best selves.

Your child’s behavior and self-esteem will improve – and so will yours! You’ll notice the atmosphere at home becoming much less stressful and much more enjoyable.

Family life will become significantly calmer, easier, and happier.

Meet our founder : Noël Janis-Norton

“I’m the director of Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting and Teaching. I’m a learning and behavior specialist with over 50 years of experience in the US and the UK as a teacher, head teacher, special needs advisor, consultant, lecturer, parenting coach, speaker, and best-selling author.”

"Our son had always been very tricky to manage, and my husband and I just thought that that’s how he would always be. We were amazed that within a few months of talking with Noël on Zoom and having a few home visits, he’s now a completely different boy. Noël wasn’t amazed because she sees this kind of transformation all the time.”

Mother of three children aged 12, 10 and 6

"I’ve never met Noël in person, but her advice over Zoom has been invaluable. We spoke twice a week for a while, and then once a week, and then fortnightly until I felt confident. By that time, the issues we had been dealing with were no longer issues."

For parents who want to improve family life, we offer two options:

  • Option One: Short-Term Parent Coaching

This is for families whose issues are relatively straightforward.

For these parents we recommend reading Noël’s books and blog articles, plus three or more Zoom sessions with Noël (with both parents together) within a three-month period.

These Zoom sessions will help parents to clarify strategies needed for each family’s more challenging scenarios.

If you think this option might be right for your family, the first step is to book an Initial Consultation with Noël.

  • Option Two: Intensive Parent Coaching

This is for families experiencing more difficult or complex issues.

Often the parents and the children or teens have been stuck in negative ways of reacting for quite a long time.

For these families, Noël recommends her books and articles, plus Intensive Parent Coaching.

Some of the more difficult issues that parents consult Noël about are:

    Bullying

    Divorce and step-families

    Special needs

    Defiant teens

    Extreme temperament

    Traditional schooling vs. Home-schooling

Parents receive advice and support that’s completely personalized to each family’s specific needs and circumstances. This program lasts six months or longer so that parents have ample time to learn the new strategies and to practice them until they become habits.

If you think this option might be right for your family, the first step is to book an Initial Consultation with Noël.

“If my character, Lois, on ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ had learned these strategies, we wouldn’t have had a TV show that lasted 7 years – there wouldn’t have been all those naughty boys to yell at!”

-Jane Kaczmarek, Actor and mother of three

The ‘Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting’ approach is practical, down-to-earth, and solution-oriented.
