My little dog has veterinary diagnosed Chronic Colitis and I have found that the Prebiotics and Probiotics in Big Dog have vastly improved his condition combined with a bland, home-cooked diet of steamed chicken, oats, and a variation of either sweet potato, white rice and/or pumpkin.

I did some research and found that Prebiotics act as food for the beneficial bacteria in the colon which helps maintain the healthy bacterial population.
