June 1, 2012Well-- my very good friend just got a bad diagnosis... thanks for the feedback here. I think every situation is different and I trust that I'll say the right things... and even if I get it wrong- it's only because I got it wrong and it wasn't intentional... Be human, be honest, listen, show up in ways that are helpful-- be honest and imperfect... Just be there... in a way that is right for you... If they don't want you there -- you will know and you can help in other ways... healthy food and kind gestures, prayer. Listen more. Talk less... Be gentle with yourself and more gentle with them.

December 20, 2020I am really pleased with my purchase, and it helps keep me motivated while I await my surgery date.
Also, unlike other sellers, I find that your prices are very affordable!
When one is forced to stop working due to cancer, money is really tight; so I appreciate the fact that I am not being taken advantage of when I am most vulnerable.

Of the several Hope rings I purchased, 2 of them were defective. I did not send them back for replacements because it did not seem worth the postage to replace 2 rubber rings.

May 9, 2014I love the locket! However, the chain broke at the clasp and I lost the chain, but not the locket. I ordered a second one, the chain broke again and this time I lost the locket. So I put the first locket on the second chain but need to have a jeweler fix the chain so I don’t lose it again. (I found the first locket on the ground but no chain in sight. The second chain ended up in my bra but no locket).

May 7, 2019Thank you so very much for providing the ribbons of hope. It is such a meaningful symbol for those of us who are supporting someone with cancer, and/or as a remembrance of those lost.
I ordered a purple pin in remembrance of Jessica Ridgeway, the little girl from Colorado who was murdered. And another one in remembrance of my cousin who died from Pancreatic Cancer.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I love these pins!

May 1, 2013I purchased the "No One Fights Alone" necklace for my wife who is now done with Chemo treatments and is in remission. I gave one to my daughter so they could wear the necklace on the same days to show others that no one fights alone in this battle of cancer. There is strength in numbers when it comes to support. This was a visual way to show we fight this together.

I wear this pin everywhere and have gotten many compliments on it. Besides the fact that it is a very pretty pin, it gives me the opportunity to tell people that teal represents my cancer (ovarian), so it's contributing to ovarian cancer awareness.

Purchase was for my Aunt. She was very excited to receive gift. After her first chemo treatment was needing something to help nausea and mouth sores. Was disappointed because lotion top was broken off in shipping. She placed order for drops immediately after trying the ones in her gift.

Dear Santa,
I am asking you to bring some understanding and enlightenment to people I encounter.
I have been getting cancer treatments for a little over a year and I am finding certain comments hurtful and dismissive. When asked how I am doing I usually answer ‘fine, but tired’. I am met with responses of “why do you think you are so tired?” and other responses of “you’ll be fine”, “just stay positive” and “you know they are putting poison in you”. I believe these people mean well and don’t know what to say, but it leaves me feeling discounted. I am no drama queen but feel these comments are insensitive and not supportive.
A more appropriate, supportive response to someone going through a challenging medical time would be “I hope the treatment is successful, wishing you the best outcome” or “I am sure you must get tired, I bet those naps help.”
Don’t barrage someone with texts and phone calls after an appointment, you don’t know how fatiguing or what happened in that appointment. And please don’t ask if you can “share” the medical information with others. It feels like a gossip channel not a support system.
Anyway I hope this letter can be used to enlighten the support system of anyone going through a medical crisis. What to Say and What Not to Say to Someone Newly Diagnosed with CancerJoan S., Massachusetts

I am using these bands as a fund raiser of my 7th grade student who has bone cancer. It is humbling to see all the yellow bands being worn at our school as one of our own fights the fight against cancer.

I really enjoy these rings. I wish more people would ask what they're for; I wear them daily and I wear different colors to match what I'm wearing. But so far, only 2 people have asked. That's OK - it won't stop me from wearing them. I've had friends with nearly every kind of cancer whose ring I wear so, sadly, I'm all too familiar with this disease.

Love the wristbands and how quickly they arrived!! I ordered the adult size and they fit almost everyone. My father-in-law is a large man though and while he could get it over his hand it was too tight on his wrist. I looked to see if you offered XL size but only adult and youth. An XL size option would be great. But overall please with my purchase. Thanks!

My mother has always been my guardian angel but as of 6 months ago, the Lord decided that was going to be her sole role from Heaven. I purchased these for myself, father and each of my brothers to use as they please. I have mine on my visor in my car, my father wears his on his shirt collar everyday and my brothers put theirs on their work bags. Not a single complaint on these, they can be used anywhere!!!

I love the message of girls fight tough , it's a message of girl power to me. I am glad these come in different colors please get more. I personally like. Choose Hope for all the cancer support colors they offer.. I love it better than the Susan G. Komen because Choose Hope thought of everyone in size up to 3x to 4x with quality size material..while Susan G. Komen don't have those size and their shirt run very small where as a large would fit like a medium.

I was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer in August, 2018. I started chemo in September, had surgery in November of that year and more chemo treatments. After thirteen rounds of different and same chemo infusion over the last five years, I still have cancerous tumors on my lymph nodes. I am still on chemo treatment with the hope that this one works but my cancer tumors are very stubborn.
